As i had narrated in my blog before about marketing but now sales also: SOME OF THE PROFESSIONAL I KNOW VOTED SALES A DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH RADAR THAN MARKETING.
BUT MARKETING COMES FIRST BECAUSE RESEARCH, AN IDEA, MARKET FORCES WERE INVOLVED IN THIS WHOLE PROCESS AND A PRODUCT HAS TO BE PRODUCE FOR MARKETING.
IN SALES CREATING A DEMAND IN A MARKET,LOOKING FOR CUSTOMER/CLIENT OF A PRODUCT IS INVOLVED.No one product has same style,way,idea of selling it to two customers because instead of focusing or meeting consumer demand,tries to make consumer demand match the products it has produced.Where as in Marketing encompasses many research and promotional activities to discover what products where needed,wanted by some group of customers & then make them aware to those potential consumers.Marketing-demand been created and the same been satisfied,marketing encompasses the act of influencing consumer behavior but art of selling is not a marketing,Marketing can be changed according to consumers but sales persons have targets to meet from companies they worked for with this they find new customers/markets for a product produced with a team and bounded by think tanks/seniors plans rather than to change market/product or even focus to other type of customers.
Selection of marketing depends on geographic knowledge, price, promotional activities, campaigning (T.V, Canopy, AD`s, print media etc.) links, fields, marketing executives, trade leaders, customers, targeting sexes/groups, lots of people, gendering, MIS, Surveys, reports & learned with each customers dealings,analyzing from good , new fashion,trends with open their eyes always. Marketing is the performance of business activity that direct the flow of goods & services from producers to ultimate final consumer, marketing is the process of transferring goods, services in such a way that provide solution to customer`s problem now a days people don`t only buy products but looking for problems after sales and solutions e.g. mobile is a solution to communicating problem R & D is also linked with marketing & is a art of making new ideas for new production which can have its THE place for a product to desired customers satisfaction. 4 things- Where, When, How, Who, detailed, oriented, organized, collaboration with different departments are with sales but marketing team has all links till the end and again with a start from production
